FIRST NIGHT IN BUENOS AIRES

As I mentioned we had a LONG night and day getting here to BA. We were both exhausted Sunday afternoon. I went out to a money exhanged place across the street but they only wanted to exchange $100 bills. Screw that! As the afternoon drew longer the tired we got and decided not to wait until the Hilton lounge HH. So I went down and bought a bottle of chardonnay ($20) for Rebecca.
It was a nice charodanny for the price. Of course I brought my own Makers Mark bourbon (diguised as Woodford minis). We had a half hour HH and went down and got an Uber ride to Broccolini, my favorite Italian restaurant.
Tired but happy campers for dinner.
We started with the bread plate and a bottle of their house chardannay. It was the best $12 bottle of chardonnay I've had. LOL!
We shared an order of the chicken parmesan with a half order side of spaghetti arrabbiata. The fries came with the chicken but we did not eat them. No way we could eat even half of all that food. The chicken was a little tough but the spaghetti was great.
Our waiter brought this to help make the pasta spicier. Boy, did it ever!!
I had to have a copa (glass) of malbec red wine with my dinner. $6 for a big glass full. Our dinner check for the chicken, spaghetti, vino, and tip came to $65. The place started filling up as we finished our dinner. Many seemed to be Americans.
As we were walking down the street looking for a taxi, we saw a man climb into this dumpster. We watched for a long time and he never came out. Maybe he was looking for food or a place to spend the night. Who knows? VERY weird.
This man comes and talks to the guy inside before putting his trash in. VERY weird!! It was 8pm when we arrived back at the hotel and immediately went to bed. Glad that that day was over.
